Day 3 day is done

The days are getting longer.   Today we met Kate, our new site supervisor plus we had three new helpers.  We got a little bit more done on the back porch, and some siding done and MORE mudding and sanding.      Jessica says that the heat and humidity might be impacting how our tape sticks to the wall.   Oh well.

We all went to Woody's Pizza for lunch and it was awesome.  James, the soon-to-be Senior at Purdue went with us.  This is sort of an accomplishment in relationships as he has turned us down before and sort of keeps to himself.  Maybe he likes us after all?

We stayed in for the evening, we all bought, prepared and ate a great spaghetti dinner. We have started a 500 piece puzzle, and now we are scattered throughout the church.   Carol, LeLoie, Warren and Cindy are playing Rummikub, Lynn is playing Candy Crush, Linda is (likely) on Pintrest, Mike is on his tablet and I'm uploading some pictures.  We sort of needed a down night.

Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler, I'm not going to lie, that's good news.  And we hope to go to Third Thursday in the evening. This is Joplin's weekly Summer event that features art, music and fun.
