Hello friends!  Greetings from Joplin!  We people of faith sometimes talk about eternity.  Eternity is a BIG concept and is pretty hard to imagine, but this week we have discovered a glimpse of eternity.  Try sanding and mudding dry wall--over and over again.  You begin to think that the job will go on for eternity.  Three days in and we have spent eight hours a day mudding and sanding.  Sanding and mudding.  There is no end in sight.  Mudding and sanding, sanding and mudding.  Picture us with sheet rock dust in our eyes and ears and hair. We are all paler--with white eye brows and raccoon looking eyes from wearing goggles.  Be careful as you read this--I think that the dust can even find its way through the internet!  Despite the sanding and mudding, we are having a good time.  We laugh a lot and cheer one another on and run with excitement when the ice cream truck comes.  And when you eat ice cream, you can hardly taste the dust in your mouth.  Gives a new meaning to "from dust you have come and to dust you shall return."  Greetings from your dusty friends in Joplin.  There is a light at the end of eternity!  Keep praying for us!

Pastor Cindy
